Today 11/02/2026; A high-level delegation from South Sudan, led by Hon. Anthony Lino Makana, Minister of Labour, has arrived in Morocco to attend the Sixth Global Conference on the Elimination of Child Labour.
The Ministerial Meeting with the International Labour Organization (ILO) and global partners aims to accelerate action toward achieving Sustainable Development Goals 8 and 7, with a strong focus on ending child labour.
South Sudan remains committed to protecting children’s rights, promoting decent work, and strengthening international cooperation to eliminate child labour in all its forms.
