Hon. Minister of Labour Anthony Lino Makana today presented a tight and focused work plan to the Standing Specialized Committee on Labour of the TNLA during a high-level consultative meeting at the Ministry of Labour.
The engagement focused on implementation of labour laws, labour inspection challenges, pending bills, workers’ rights, and South Sudan’s participation in international labour forums, including the ILO Conference 2026 in Geneva.
The Minister reaffirmed his commitment to protecting workers’ rights and creating employment opportunities, in line with the directive of H.E. President Salva Kiir Mayardit, and emphasized strong collaboration with Parliament to deliver meaningful labour reforms.
